This is a description of how I pack my sewing machines.
- First I use bubble warp and shrink wrap to secure anything that moves to the deck of the sewing machine.

- Next I cut a piece of foam to match the size of the machine and attached it to the bottom of the machine with shrink wrap. I also wrap the whole machine in bubble wrap and more shrink wrap.

- Next the sewing machine is placed in the inner box. And more foam is used to pad the machine so it can’t move.

At this point I cut the box to match the size of the sewing machine and seal with heavy duty shipping tape. - Next the inner box is nestled in a 200# cardboard box using non collapsible packing peanuts. In addition, an extra layer of cardboard is placed in the bottom of the box.

- Finally more peanuts are put on top with a extra layer of cardboard and the box is sealed with heavy duty shipping tape.
So far there have been no complaints of damaged machines.
